Move to Jobs

Members often contact Moderators requesting that their item be moved back to the Discussion area. These Members mistakenly believe that the Moderators were responsible for moving their items (often Members move the items by mistake). Please reassure the Member and send him/her the letter below.

Dear Member,

We did not move your Discussion item. Here is the problem - due to a problem with the LinkedIn design (over which Group owners and managers have no control) - the "move to jobs" tab is easily accessible to all Members. Also, there is no confirmation required - once the person clicks on the tab, the Discussion item is immediately moved. All we can do from our end is move the item back, either when the author lets us know or when we catch it in the JOBS area.

Kindly send us the URL to your item and I'll move it back right away. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
